Close your eyes and open your ears as we journey into cred sounds and the senses for a powerful "Sound Healing Immersion". This Sacred Sound Healing begins with a short guided-meditation to prepare your body and mind for the Sacred Sound Bath experience. Lying down on mats with a cushion under your head, and a bolster under your knees for back support, you will be saturated in the sacred sounds of gong, quartz crystal bowls, singing bowls, chimes and steel tongue drum. The healing frequencies and vibrations will wash away all your stress, tension, and cares. Time is suspended as you enter a world of vibration, sensation and experience.
The Yoga Hammocks are soft, supportive and elegant. Enjoy the ultimate relaxation and sound healing experience as you float weightlessly to the sounds of chakra tuned, Quartz Crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, gong and other sound instruments. For thousands of years, sound has been utilized in various cultures as a tool for healing. You will remain in savasana for the entire class, cradled by the aerial yoga hammock. Become immersed as vibrations travel through your body and foster a deep state of relaxation.

A Sound Bath is an immersion in beautiful sacred sounds and vibrations that are healing for your body, mind and spirit. It is a deeply relaxing, meditative experience which can take you on a journey of deep relaxation, healing and self discovery. Enjoy sacred sounds of gong, chakra tuned quartz crystal singing bowls, Tibetan singing bowls, chimes, steel tongue, hand pan drum and other sound instruments.
When you sink into a Sacred Sound Bath and guide your awareness to your listening, you allow your brain waves to slow, shifting from a more active state to a more relaxed state, or even a dreamlike state.
The sounds introduced during a Sound Bath are an invitation into a deeper state of consciousness, an opportunity to unplug from external stimuli and to gain perspective on what’s going on within you. The goal of the experience is to invite deep rest and relaxation, and explore self-inquiry and self-discovery.
The joy of a sacred sound bath is the opportunity for you to lay, listen deeply with your whole body and experience states of profound physical relaxation, meditation and altered states of awareness. Here you may be transported to states of stillness, bliss, altered states of consciousness, and self-healing. This unique composition of frequencies and harmonics produces a soundscape that washes over you, with the intention to release bodily tension and produce a relaxation response lowering stress, cortisol and adrenaline levels.
Sound Healing has the power to cleanse negative energy and emotions, break old unhelpful patterns of behavior and subconscious fears, and resets the physical, emotional, and mental body into peace and harmony on a cellular level.
Sound healing can also:
· Relieve anxiety and depression
· Promote higher states of awareness
· Improve concentration
· Relieve insomnia
Believe it or not, you don’t need to have any previous experience of meditation for sound bathing. That’s because all of us have some sort of relationship with sound. So, even if you are sound bathing for the first time, you can enjoy the same benefits that regulars do. Plus, you don’t need to be particularly disciplined for a sound bath so it’s a great start for your meditative journey.
Just be well hydrated and eat light before the sound bath, bring a water bottle and yoga mat with you. Also, ensure that you wear loose comfortable clothing for your session. That is all you need to do in order to prepare for your sound bath therapy session.
As your body is subconsciously healing and energy has shifted, you need to take great care of your body after your sound bath session. You need to rest and drink lots of fluids to promote healing.
No, a sound bath is not dangerous. The frequencies of the sounds produced during the session are not damaging to your hearing at all.
However, for some people, the sounds produced might create panic or cause sadness. This normally happens as the sounds and vibrations unlock emotions buried deep within your consciousness. So, you don’t need to be worried, just relax and acknowledge the emotions.
Generally, 1-2 sessions per month are recommended. However, if you are experiencing emotional, physical or mental challenges that need to be addressed, then weekly sessions are better. Also, if you are just starting out, then go for 4 sessions spaced 1-2 weeks apart.
Basically, it is best if you have regular sessions rather than occasional ones. That’s because regular sessions offer more long term benefits.

Do I need to come early?
Classes begin on time. It is suggested that you arrive 10 to 15 minutes early. The doors are locked 5 minutes BEFORE time class begins.
Is it meditation?
It is not meditation as you may traditionally think of it, but the Sound Bath experience can be helpful for anyone who wants to access the benefits of meditation or a moment of relaxation. Instead of a meditative practice that requires you to sit up straight or have a point of focus or recite a complicated mantra or count your breaths, all you have to do during a Sound Bath is listen. Sound is ephemeral – this particular sound is only happening right NOW – and thus an awareness of each sound helps you connect to the present moment, and explore mindfulness.
